Basalt Fiber & BFRP Reinforcement | Long-Life Infrastructure Solution

Steel corrosion is the primary hidden risk limiting the service life of bridges, tunnels and hydraulic works. Chloride ingress causes steel rebar to expand and crack concrete, while ordinary fiberglass gradually loses strength under UV and repeated wet-dry cycles, leading to expensive recurring repairs.

Basalt fiber is inorganic, produced from natural volcanic rock without chemical modification. It delivers inherent resistance to chloride, UV aging and corrosion. Our BFRP rebar, chopped strands and geogrids eliminate rust-induced concrete cracking, maintaining stable mechanical properties over decades for century-grade infrastructure.

Key Advantages

  • Rust-free reinforcement, drastically cutting long-term maintenance costs
  • Superior retention of strength vs standard fiberglass under outdoor exposure
  • Lightweight, reduces structural load and simplifies site handling
  • Electrically non-conductive & non-magnetic, ideal for metro and electromagnetic-sensitive projects
  • Eco-friendly raw material, aligned with green building & carbon reduction requirements

Applications

Bridge decks, tunnel linings, dams, utility tunnels, pavement & slope reinforcement.
